Golf Cart Joyride Damages Course

Someone also drove a motorcycle over a lawn.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Sometime over the weekend, someone drove a motorcycle on the lawn in the 700 block of Red Oak Lane causing tire marks in grass.

Someone drove a golf ball retriever cart throughout a golf course in the 700 block of Vine Avenue between May 13 at 6 p.m. and May 14 at 6 a.m causing minor turf damage. The cart engine belt broke, the #8 hole flag was stolen, and minor damage was done to the #8 hole.

Someone damaged the interior of a vacant house set for demolition in the 1700 block of Elmwood Drive by spray painting assorted types of graffiti, pictures and wording on the walls sometime between May 9 and 16.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Michael Bentley, 28, of Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of an unwanted subject at a business in the 700 block of Red Oak Lane at 9 a.m. May 13. Bentley was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 25.

Dale Jaggernauth, 40, of Highland Park, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a dispute in the 100 block of Wainwright Street at 2 a.m. May 18. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 13.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Shannique Shelton, 26, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3 a.m. May 18. Shelton was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 11.
