Halloween Spooks Arrive in Highland Park Next Week

Are you ready for some Halloween fun nearly a week before the holiday arrives.

Highland Park children will have their choice between “Spook, Rattle and Roll” and “Spook Rattle and Rock” for pre Halloween fun from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 at Sunset Park.

Younger children between 5 and 8 can “roll” through a “not so scary” walk through the park with some inflatable rides along the way. Kids between 9 and 13 step it up to “rock” with a climbing wall, obstacle course and other activities.

Everyone gets to enjoy music with a deejay, a photo booth and more. The charge is $5 but a costume earns a $1 discount. The event is sponsored by the Park District of Highland Park and full details are on its website.
