Heat Advisory in Effect for Highland Park
It might feel hotter than 105 degrees Monday.

Temperatures are expected to exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit Monday, according to a severe weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service.
Humidity is expected to produce heat indices in excess of 105 degrees Monday. As a result, the City of Highland Park recommends residents stay in air-conditioned spaces, stay out of direct sun and drink lots of water, according to a news release issued Monday morning.
The city is also offering two cooling centers for residents who need to escape the extreme temperatures.

The will be open to residents as a cooling center from 5 a.m. till 9:45 p.m. Monday.
The Highland Park Police Department will also serve as a cooling center and is available 24 hours per day.
