Highland Park Among Top Illinois Towns for Job Seekers

Highland Park is the sixth best municipality in Illinois for people looking for work, according to data collected from the Nerd Wallet website examining factors which make a place’s residents more likely to land job.

Nerd Wallet has collected data about Illinois communities to determine if they are growing, residents' salaries and the local employment rate, to gauge which towns were most suitable for job seekers.

According to the website and information provided by spokesperson Rowena Li, Highland Park has second highest median household income—$114,600—among the communities surveyed and an unemployment of 6.3 percent.
