Highland Park Brewer Pours at Craft Beer Fest

More than 60 craft brewers from around the country poured their beers today at the Highwood Craft Beer Festival including Finch's of Chicago.

Finch's is owned by Ben Finch of Highland Park. Finch was there with a crew pouring a pair of selections.

Craft beer is the fastest growing part of the industry, according to Ted Widen, the festival’s producer. “Craft beer is the hallmark of the beer industry,” Widen said. “They are brewing the best beer in the country.”

Illinois currently has 70 breweries and over 100 more have applications filed with state licensing agency, according to Widen.
