Highland Park is Named 'Best Neighborhood Shopping' by Make It Better

DOWNTOWN HIGHLAND PARK, IL (JUNE 29, 2016) – Make It Better Magazine has officially announced the Best of 2016 winners and Highland Park was selected as Best Neighborhood Shopping (Suburbs). The poll brought in more than 168,000 votes across 11 categories from the best businesses and services in the Chicagoland area.

Downtown Highland Park businesses that made the Best of 2016 list: BloOuts (Best Blow Out), Lou Malnati’s (Best Pizza – Suburbs), Walker Bros. Pancake House (Best Breakfast), Spex (Best Optician), Uncle Dan’s The Great Outdoor Store (Best Sporting Goods/Athletic Store), Luxury Garage Sale (Best Fashion Website With Chicago Roots), Eileen Fisher (Best Clothing Brand With Chicago Roots).

“Downtown Highland Park has everything — from national chains like Anthropologie to locally owned boutiques like E Street Denim — all in an upscale, walkable outdoor environment,” according to Make It Better Magazine.
