Carole Jean Barnes, 79, passed away August 17, 2014.
She was born November 2, 1934 in Highland Park to Margaret and Norman Helke. Carole was a Highland Park High School graduate and an employee of Jewel Food Store for 16 years.

Beloved wife of the late Roland; loving mother of Cathy (the late Ryamond) Westphal and Daniel (Caryl); cherished grandmother of Raymond III (Kelly) and Christopher Westphal and Ashley Barnes; adored great-grandmother of Raymond IV, Wyatt, Darien, Jordan, Matthew, Nathan, Colton and Carly; dear sister of the late Norman (Dolly) Helke and Margery (Bill) Wehrmeyer.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2014 from 9 am until time of service 11 am at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.
