Park District to Hold Dog Park Dedication

Join the Park District of Highland Park and the Beitler family on Saturday, August 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the official dedication of the at , 701 Deer Creek Parkway.

The Beitler family, whose generous donation contributed to the construction of the new dog park, is pleased that the cooperative agreement between the family and the Park District has resulted in this year round, fully ADA accessible facility.  

The new dog park is open dawn to dusk. Two adjoined fenced areas allowing separate exercise space for large and small dogs. Dog park amenities also include a wash station, pick-up bag dispensers, and prime time park attendant visits. 

Join your friends and neighbors, your friend’s and neighbor’s dogs, and the Park District of Highland Park in thanking the Beitler family as we celebrate the opening of the District’s newest off leash dog exercise area.
