A group of poets from Highland Park Poetry read verse about canines to a small crowd and 22 big dogs today in front of City Hall.
The event is part of the celebration surrounding sculptures of big dogs throughout downtown Highland Park.
Poet Margie Rissman, who wrote a poem for the exhibit is featured on the Patch video. Patch will have a longer video of several of the poets later this week.
