Police Arrest 2 for Driving Under the Influence

Driving Under the Influence
Dominick Davis, 21 of Algonquin was arrested Friday and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near Central Avenue and First Street, according to Highland Park Police reports. Davis was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Sept. 20 in Waukegan.
Warren Kingston, 23 of Fox Lake was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. Kingston was released on a cash bond with a court date of Oct. 4 in Waukegan.

Criminal Damage to Property
Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property where an unknown person pulled down a wooden fence sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. August 29 causing the south east corner piece of the fence to fall down. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Central Avenue.

Driver’s License Infractions and More
Corry Daus, 55 of Gurnee was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while license suspended and use of wireless device while driving after being stopped by police in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park, according to Highland Park Police reports. Daus was released on a cash bond with a court date of Oct. 9 in Park City.
