Police Blotter: 32-year-old Charged in Heroin Bust

Incidents of stolen a laptop and bikes are also listed in Tuesday's police report.

The Highland Park Police Department provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Heroin possession bust

Erick Calderon, 32, of the 600 block of Appleton Road, Menasha, WI, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance. Police found the heroin after they were called to the 700 block of Park Avenue West for a drug investigation. Calderon was stopped by the police earlier in the evening as a passenger in a drunken driving incident and well-being check. He was transported to bond court and has a pending court date.
