Police Blotter: Egged Garage Door

The following items are taken from the Highland Park Police Department. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Driving under the influence

Stephen J. Bucheleres, 42, of the 2500 block of West Moffet in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding after being stopped by the police in the 100 block of Edens Expressway, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of September 2.

Jose G. Dominguez, 41, of the 700 block of Vine Avenue in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by the police at Park Avenue and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. He was released on bond with a court date of September 2.

Driving while license suspended

Lydia Cichanski, 20, of the 900 block of East Old Willow Road in Prospect Heights, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and interference after being stopped by the police at Half Day Road and Bentley Road, Highland Park.  She was released on bond with a court date of August 28.

Nicole I. Williams, 28, of the 4600 block of South Calumet in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding after being stopped by the police in the 100 block of Edens, Highland Park.  She was released on bond with a court date of August 24.

Criminal damage

Police are investigating a report of criminal damage (graffiti) in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue, Highland Park.
