Police Charge Chicago Man With Obstructing Justice

Obstruction of Justice and More 

Jesus Trejo-Serrano, 42, of Chicago was arrested Sunday and charged with obstructing Justice, unlawful use of fictitious Identification card, driving while license suspended and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police on Saturday in the 700 block of Llewellyn Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was transported to Lake County bond court in Waukegan. 

DUI

Carrie Piwowarczyk, 45, of Green Oaks was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, no valid registration and failure to signal after being stopped by police in the 1400 block of Park Avenue West, according to Highland Park Police reports.  He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 15 in Waukegan.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police are investigating a delayed report of criminal damage to property made Saturday. Unknown person(s) damaged a mirror and a picture frame has been cracked with a spider web pattern. In the women's restroom of the restaurant, three pictures are missing. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Pedro Martinez, 41 of Highwood was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while license suspended and failure to use turn signal after being stopped by police in the 2300 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Nov. 27 in Park City.
