HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • Fire - Oct. 13 at 11:53 a.m.
    • A staff member at Secret World Books at 1774 Second Street reported to police that a pride flag was burned sometime between Oct. 11 and Oct. 12.
  • Halloween display - Oct. 19 at 10:58 a.m
    • Police received two reports of a resident's Halloween display being damaged in the 2500 block of Highmoor Road. The total estimated damage is unknown.

BURGLARY

  • Vehicle - Oct. 18 at 7:16 p.m.
    • A resident reported that 15 to 18 watches were stolen from their vehicle that was parked in the 1000 block of Parke Avenue W. The total estimated loss is $5,600, police said.

THEFT

  • Residential - Oct. 18 at 5:26 p.m.
    • A resident told police that their security camera was stolen from their porch in the 2600 block of Waukegan Avenue.
