Robbery Suspects Flee Wisconsin, Crash In Highland Park
A group of people suspected of robbing an ATM in Wisconsin crashed in Highland Park on Tuesday and have evaded police since.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — A group of robbery suspects fleeing Wisconsin crashed in Highland Park Tuesday night, leading to a manhunt as three to four individuals evaded police.
The Highland Park Police Department responded to a crash at Clavey Road and Skokie Valley Road just before 5:30 p.m. Police in Lake Forest informed Highland Park authorities the vehicle was believed to be linked to an ATM robbery that occurred in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
Witnesses at the scene had conflicting reports, police said, but it's believed that three to four individuals fled on foot following the crash. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody at approximately 6:13 p.m. and the investigation was turned over to Cedarburg police.

Police in Highland Park and neighboring jurisdictions began searching for the remaining suspects, but were unable to locate them despite exhausting all efforts, including the use of drones and K-9s.
"Highland Park Police are coordinating with the City of Cedarburg, WI, the jurisdiction where the crime occurred, to obtain more information, including authoritative descriptions of the suspects in the robbery who may have been traveling in the vehicle.," Highland Park police said in a statement.

As the suspects are still at large, Highland Park police said they will continue patrolling throughout the community to identify suspicious behavior and activity. Residents were advised to cal 911 in the event of threatening or suspicious behavior.
