Snow Blower Etiquette in Highland Park: What Times of Day Are Appropriate to Snow Blow?
Snow blowers are extremely helpful after a big storm, but they can also be very noisy. How late is too late and how early is too early to use the machines?

With snowfalls averaging 1 to 2 inches per hour Tuesday, Highland Park residents will likely be using their snow blowers over the next couple days.
Patch wants to know: How late is too late to snow blow your property and how early is too early?
We posed the “snow blower etiquette” question to Patch Facebook fans Monday and here’s what local residents had to say:

6:30 is not bad. It's the ones who get out there at 3:30a. Ugh.
I think snow blowing when ever you can/need to is fine. It's not like a weekly occurrence like law mowing at 6am. I think what's noisier is the trucks that plow people's driveways at 3am and the city plows not to mention the flashing bright yellow lights.

Speaking of etiquette, it would be great if more people cleared their sidewalks as well as their driveways!
