Two Highland Park Gas Stations Cited

Highland Park Police cited two gas station workers for allegedly selling cigarettes to a minor during a tobacco sting involving 20 local businesses.

In a recent tobacco compliance check of 20 businesses, Highland Park Police handed out two citations, reported the Highland Park News.

The alleged violations occurred at Bucky's Express Mobil Station at 1333 Half Day Rd. and Clark gas station at 760 Central Ave. Employees at both stores allegedly sold cigarettes to a 16-year-old who was working with police, according to the Highland Park News.
