2 Hinsdale Residents Killed In La Grange Crash: Authorities

A 51-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were killed, according to authorities.

HINSDALE, IL — Two Hinsdale residents were killed in a seven-vehicle crash Friday in La Grange, according to authorities.

The victims were identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Brett Allen Lane, 51, and a 49-year-old woman named by multiple media outlets as Melissa Ann Lane.

The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. at Willow Springs Road and 47th Street, according to police, who said five people were taken to hospitals.
