Burr Ridge Politician's Name In Hinsdale D86 Legal Bills
The politician and a District 86 leader have apparently known each other for years.

HINSDALE, IL – In his role as an attorney, Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso's name appears in three items in Hinsdale High School District 86's recent legal bills.
On May 22, the district's lawyer, Felicia Frazier of the Odelson law firm, took part in a Zoom meeting with Grasso and board President Catherine Greenspon. It's under a category in Odelson's bill for labor matters, which includes union contracts, negotiations and grievances.
A day later, Grasso's name appeared in two items in the bill. In both cases, Frazier is listed as reviewing correspondence from Grasso, categorized as miscellaneous business.

Grasso and Greenspon appear to have known each other for years. In 2019, Greenspon, a Burr Ridge resident, donated $400 to Grasso's mayoral campaign.
In April, Greenspon challenged Grasso, Darien Mayor Joseph Marchese and other area politicians to take part in District 86 students' ice bucket challenge, meant to raise awareness of mental health. Grasso took her up on it. Both posted Facebook videos of ice water being poured on their heads.
Grasso is running as a Republican for DuPage County Board chairman.
