Cars Stolen In Hinsdale Neighborhoods: Cops
It's part of a trend of suspects targeting unlocked cars with key fobs inside, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Two cars were stolen overnight Monday in Hinsdale neighborhoods, police said.
Stolen were an Acura MDX in a driveway in the 400 block of South Monroe Street and a Kia Sorrento in the front of a house in the 5700 block of South Garfield Avenue, police said. Several other cars were rummaged through.
Police said the thefts were part of a regional trend in which criminals target unlocked cars with the key fobs left inside. Western Springs and Elmhurst have been among the targeted towns.

- A house in the 400 block of Warren Terrace was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect forced entry through a back door and rummaged through bedrooms. The case is pending.
- A car was vandalized around noon last Thursday in the parking lot at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 139 First St.
