Celebrate the Season with Fall Family Fest in Hinsdale

Dress in your best Halloween costume and join Hinsdale Parks and Recreation for a free day of fun.

Enjoy pumpkin decorating, inflatables, entertainment and carnival games during the Fall Family Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at Hinsdale Middle School.

Trick-or-Treating will take place in the downtown business district from noon to 3 p.m. Pumpkins for decorating will be available for the first 500 participants.

Those in costume can check in to be judged at the Chamber of Commerce table from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Winners will be announced at the end of the event at 2 p.m.

  • Inflatables, carnival games and pumpkin decorating: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Costume Judging at Chamber of Commerce Table: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Entertainment on stage provided by Hinsdale Public Library: noon - 12:45 p.m.
  • Costume Contest Winners Announced: 2 p.m.
  • Trick or Treating ends in downtown area: 3 p.m.
