Clarendon Hills Children Go on the Hunt

Dozens of kids spread out to hunt for hidden treasure in the form of Easter eggs Saturday.

Nearly 200 children under the age of nine gathered at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Prospect Park on April 16 for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Colorful plastic eggs were hidden across the park for the event, and many of the eggs had prizes hidden inside. Before the hunt the annual "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" program was held at the Community Center.

The breakfast, sponsored and staffed by members of the Clarendon Hills Women's Club included photo options with the Easter Bunny, a magic show and face painting. The event was presented by PNC bank.
