CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Wasabi Restaurant & Bar in Clarendon Hills is getting new owners and a new name.

Starting Jan. 1, the restaurant at 31 S. Prospect Ave. will be known as Ginger Wasabi, according to a village memo this week.

According to the memo, Duan and Wei recently sold their Villa Park restaurant, Tong's Tiki Hut, where they offered sushi and Chinese food.

The Village Board plans to vote on the liquor license at its meeting Monday.

Wasabi Restaurant & Bar hasn't been at 31 S. Prospect Ave. for long. Before it opened, it was the site of Talley's Kitchen & Bar.
