Clarendon Hills Going To Little League World Series
The local team defeated Ohio in the regionals.
CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills, representing Illinois in the Little League, prevailed over Ohio on Wednesday, according to ABC 7. The score was 9-4.
The local team, with players 12 and under, is advancing to the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
On July 24, Clarendon Hills captured the state title with a victory over La Grange Park. The regional tournament was held in Whitestown, Indiana.

The Little League Baseball World Series starts Aug. 13 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Play will be divided into two brackets — one for U.S. competition and the other for international.
Play ends with the championship game on Aug. 24, as the winners from each bracket compete.
