IL Little League Team Heads To Regionals For Shot At World Series

The team is set to play against Indiana in the run-up to the Little League World Series.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills is the Illinois team playing against the Indiana team in preparation for the Little League Baseball World Series.

The game is set for 6 p.m. Saturday in Whitestown, Indiana. It will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Clarendon Hills Little League 12 and under team captured the state title July 24 with avictory over La Grange Park. Now, they move on to the Great Lakes Region Tournament in Whitestown, Indiana.

If Clarendon Hills wins the matchup against Indiana on Saturday, they'll move on to face off against Michigan at 3 p.m. Central Sunday, also airing on ESPN+.

The Little League Baseball World Series starts Aug. 13, in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Play will be divided into two brackets — one for U.S. competition and the other for international.

Play ends with the championship game on Aug. 24, as the winners from each bracket compete. The brackets for the World Series are determined in regionals held from July 31 to Aug. 8.
