Feb. 7 Emergency Day

Due to the multiple interpretations of the ruling and the status of the State mandates, there is a strong likelihood that there will be disruption in our schools which will have a substantial negative impact on the delivery of instruction and the health and safety of our students and staff.

As such, the District is designating Monday, Feb. 7, as an Emergency Day and will implement Remote Instruction.

Staff and families: Please check your email for more information.

We understand this may cause some scheduling issues for families but given the nature of this issue, we want to be as thorough as possible as we review the implications of the case.

Next Steps

On Monday evening, we will meet with the D181 Board of Education to determine our next steps for returning to in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

We appreciate your patience and continued cooperation. We will continue to monitor the litigation and will revisit, as necessary, any changes that may be required to our current mitigation measures and protocols.

Our next communication to our school community will be following the meeting on Monday night and before the start of the school day on Feb. 8.
