Couple File Lawsuit Against Hinsdale Hospital for Alleged Negligence

A husband and wife are alleging negligence on the part of Hinsdale Hospital.

Sergio and Margarita Ramirez filed a lawsuit Oct. 6 in Cook County against several parties, including Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, West Suburban Neurosurgical Associates and Suburban Radiologists, according to the Cook County Record.

The Ramirezes claim in the suit that Sergio has permanent brain damage because reasonable care wasn’t taken by the defendants when he had a head injury, the Record reported.

They are asking for damages in excess of $50,000 and litigation costs.
