HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their weekly blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

E-bike group disturbances

  • A man told police that someone threw a rock that broke his car window after he confronted a group of people riding electric bicycles. The incident occurred about 10 p.m. July 15 in the 10 block of West Hinsdale Avenue. Around the same time, the e-bike group surrounded a woman's car in the 800 block of South Oak Street while she was driving and scratched her car. In both cases, the victims delayed reporting the issues, Police Chief Brian King said. Police said they have no suspects. The group appears to be the same one that authorities earlier alleged created problems that same night in Burr Ridge and Hinsdale.
