Fire Blamed For Hinsdale Restaurant's Closure
The fire department gave details about a fire that caused an estimated $300,000 in damages.
HINSDALE, IL – A popular Hinsdale restaurant closed its doors temporarily after a fire that firefighters believe was accidental.
About 1 p.m. Sunday, the fire department received notice of a fire alarm activation at Fuller House restaurant, 35 E. First St., according to a news release.
Firefighters found light smoke throughout Fuller House, which prompted an evacuation of customers and employees, the news release said.

The fire department said a grill in the kitchen caught on fire and was burning inside the walls.
The fire remains under investigation, but the department said it appeared accidental in nature.

No one was reported injured and damages were estimated at $300,000.
Fuller House announced Sunday on social media it was closed until further notice because of "maintenance issues." It gave more information Monday morning.
"The Hinsdale Fire (Department) did an outstanding job on rectifying the situation and finding the root of the problem immediately," the restaurant said on Facebook. "We are working hard with the village and more to open up for the community. We appreciate your patience and support during this time and hope to get back up and running very soon!"
