Hinsdale Police Reports: Damaged Cars, DUI, Provoking
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Sept. 8.

Someone cracked the windshield of a parked car Sept. 1 in an employee parking area in the 900 block of North Elm Street, according to Hinsdale police.
Heine Heininga, age 50 of Spinning Wheel Road, Hinsdale, was seen at 12:35 a.m. Sept. 1 scratching cars parked in a garage on Spinning Wheel Road, according to Hinsdale police. Heininga was charged with criminal damage to vehicle and released to appear in court.

Joshua C Wilson, age 34 of South Yale in Chicago, was stopped for speeding and improper lane use Sept. 3 at Ogden Avenue and Route 83, according to Hinsdale police. Wilson was arrested and charged with drunken driving, DUI over 0.08, speeding and improper lane use. He was released to appear in court.
A woman in a BP parking lot at 8:13 p.m. Sept. 7 was contacted by three people in an insulting or provoking manner in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, according to Hinsdale police. One of them reportedly reached into her car, pulled her purse out and threw it on the ground. The suspects are described as an older white female driver with straight black hair, a white male passenger in his late 20s with a bald head, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 210 pounds, and a white male passenger with black hair and beard, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 100 pounds, police report. They were in a gray, four door Chevrolet Malibu.
