Hinsdale Police Suspect Residential Mail Was Stolen Overnight
Mail may have been stolen between Sept. 24 and 25.

Hinsdale police received several reports that mail may have been stolen from street-side mailboxes between Sept. 24 and 25 from homes north of Ogden Avenue.
Stolen mail is often used for identity theft and fraud, according to Hinsdale police, and residents of that area who notice their mail is missing should call police at 630-789-7070.
Residents should also watch their credit and credit card statements for unusual activity. Hinsdale police are investigating the possible mail theft with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
