House Egged, Surprise Flowers: Police Blotter

Clarendon Hills police reports, March 27-29

FRIDAY, MARCH 29

Rowdy Rowdy

An officer was dispatched at 3:48 a.m. to a complaint of four males throwing beer bottles in front of a building on the 5700 block of Concord Lane.  The officer found the broken bottles in the grass next to the southbound Route 83 roadway. The officer searched the area and eventually found bottles, loud talking and other noise coming from an apartment on the 5400 block of Concord. The tenants refused to answer the door. The police department will follow up on the incident.

Stranger at the Door

A woman at 8:09 p.m. said there was someone at her door on the 200 block of Jackson Road. There was a white car in the driveway. She has a "No Soliciting" sign on her property and was not expecting anyone, so she wanted the person removed. The visitor turned out to be someone delivering flowers.

House Egged, Furniture Tipped

A woman at 9 p.m. reported that her house on the 400 block of Hill Court was egged and her patio furniture tipped over. Her teenage son said he did not have any problems with any other kids and the parents did not have any issues with anyone as well. There was no dollar loss in the incident.
