Back To School: District 91 2025-26 School Year Calendar

LOCKPORT, IL — There may be a few more days of July, but the start of school is a month away for Milne Grove/Kelvin Grove District 91 students.

The first day of school for District 91 students will be Aug. 25. If you're trying to plan out the rest of the school year, here are some other important dates to know:

• Aug. 25, first day of school for grades K-8
• Aug. 29, early dismissal
• Sept. 1, Labor Day, no school
• Sept. 10, late start day
• Sept. 19, early dismissal
• Oct. 8, late start
• Oct. 13, Columbus Day, no school
• Oct. 24, early dismissal
• Nov. 12, late start
• Nov. 24-25, parent/teacher conferences
• Nov. 26-28, Thanksgiving break, no school
• Dec. 10, late start
• Dec. 19, early dismissal
