HOMER GLEN, IL — The calendar may have just flipped to September, but many area fall festivals and pumpkin patches are already opening for the fall season. In Homer Glen, Bengtson's Farm opens for its fall fest on Sept. 5.
Bengtson's is a popular destination during autumn, and offers a variety of activities for families including rides, attractions, local food vendors, petting zoo, corn box, playgrounds and more.
The season will run from Sept. 5 to Nov. 2. Bengtson's is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and on Columbus Day.

The farm is closed Sept. 8 through Sept. 11. Bengtson's also celebrates Homer Day on Sept. 14.
Ticket prices vary depending on the date, and you can purchase your ticket in advance online or at the gate. Bengtson's is a cashless facility.

Prices are generally $23.99 Monday through Thursday; $26.99 on Friday; $31.99 on September Saturdays and Sundays; and $38.99 on October Saturday and Sundays (and Columbus Day).
Kids one and younger are free admission.
