Christmas In The Square Set For Nov. 29 In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — The holiday season may feel far away, but the City of Lockport has already set the date for its annual Christmas in the Square event.

For those looking to plan ahead, the festive fun will kick off at 1 p.m. on Nov. 29 at 222 E. Ninth St. From 1 to 5 p.m., there will be photo opportunities with Santa and his friends, a giant snow globe, artificial ice rink, crafts, balloon art, food trucks, snowball fight, ice sculpture demo, reindeer and more.

The Christmas tree lighting will take place at 4:30 p.m.

According to the City, parking is limited to street parking and on-site at City Hall. You can use public parking lots at 901 S. Hamilton St., 925 S. State St., or 723 S. State St.
