Cruisin' Into Lockport Returns June 2
The car shows are held Monday nights in June, July and August from 4 to 8 p.m. on State Street between Ninth and 11th.
LOCKPORT, IL — Now that it's already May, summer events like car shows, concerts and movie nights are just a few weeks away. In Lockport, the annual car show, Cruisin' Into Lockport, is set to return on June 2.
According to the City, the car shows are held Monday nights in June, July and August from 4 to 8 p.m. on State Street between Ninth and 11th. Concerts also happen on the same nights from 6 to 8 p.m. at 222 E. Ninth St.
The concerts will also offer kids activities and food trucks.

All makes and models are welcome; and there is a weekly car theme with designated parking on 10th Street, according to the City. Here's the schedule with the live music and themed night for the car show:
- June 2, The Neverly Brothers, 60s car night
- June 16, Southside Soul Kings, 50s car night
- June 23, Strung Out, 70s car night
- June 30, Crook County Blues Band, Mopar night
- July 7, Electro Retro Band, Corvette night
- July 14, The Moods, Mustang night
- July 21, Crooked Fences, GM Night
- July 28, 4CAST, Ford/Lincoln night
- Aug. 4, Smoke & Mirrors, Camaro night
- Aug. 11, Redline Audio, trucks/Jeep night
- Aug. 18, Ryan Craig Band, foreign car night
- Aug. 25, Centerfold, Orphan night
