Fall Festival by Veterans, for Veterans in Tinley Park Oct. 2 to Oct. 4
Carnival rides, entertainment, good food and a beer garden. Support local veterans programs and the Manteno Veterans Home.

Tinley Park veterans will host a “Fall Festival” this coming weekend, Friday, Oct. 2, through Sunday, Oct. 4, at 175th Street and Oak Park Avenue. This fun-filled, family event is a fundraiser to support local Tinley Park community programs, scholarships as well as the Manteno Veterans Home.
The schedule:
- Friday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: noon to 6 p.m.
The festival will consist of carnival rides, live entertainment, and food vendors. In addition, the Post 615 family will host a “Beer Garden” sponsored by Bud Light and brought by Lakeshore Beverage.

Several musical acts are also scheduled to perform on Friday 7 to 10 p.m., and Saturday, 6 to 10 p.m., sponsored by Bettenhausen Automotive Group.
Festival chairman Santino Lettieri predicts this festival will bring Tinley Park, as well its neighboring communities, together for a great cause.

“We believe residents from all areas will support local veterans. We are planning for a great weekend and hope for warm fall weather,” Lettieri said.
Fest organizers have a Facebook page and a website (www.post615.com) and flyers are being distributed throughout the neighboring communities. Volunteers are also being sought to cover the all-day event.
