Gnomer Glen Brings Gnomes, Snowmen To Heritage Park

Three prizes will be awarded for the decorating contest; a people's choice award, mayor's choice and Homer Glen Junior Woman's Club choice.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Gnomer Glen will return to Heritage Park for this holiday season. The Village of Homer Glen's snowman/gnome decorating contest has already started, and gnomes and snowmen cut-outs are now on sale.

Businesses, individuals, families and organizations can participate in the contest, the Village said. You can register online, pick up your gnome or snowman at Village Hall starting Nov. 3 and bring your completed creation back to Village Hall by Nov. 25.

There are 15 snowmen and 20 gnomes available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the Village. The entry fee for the gnomes is $15, and the entry fee for the snowman is $20.
