The festive fun will kick off on Dec. 7, with the official lighting ceremony from 4 to 7 p.m., according to the Village. The kick-off will feature holiday music, hot cocoa, treats from food vendors, the Homer Express wagon ride, costumed characters and more.
As the sun sets, at 4:45 p.m., Santa will arrive on a fire truck, provided by the Homer Township Fire Protection District. Santa will help Mayor Christina Neitzke-Troike light the park to officially mark the start of the season, the Village said.
