Lockport Hosts Fall Season Property Contest

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport is hosting a Fall Season Property Contest, which will run through Nov. 23. According to the city, the contest began Oct. 1, and Lockport residents can showcase their landscape and yards with different outside decor. Halloween decorations are also welcome for the competition.

Winners will get special recognition from the city, and could receive a special sign outside of their home, VIP attendance to the Beautification Reception in January 2019, and a Gift Certificate to a local Lockport business.

The city said the voting will be done by Lockport’s Beautification Committee, and the winner will be announced by Dec. 20. The Winter Property Contest will also begin Nov. 24.
