Lockport Plans Farmers Market On Monday Nights

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport residents searching for a new way to stock up on groceries will have to look no further than a weekly farmers market that kicks off on Monday.

In a Facebook post, the Lockport Chamber announced the farmers market will be held alongside the City of Lockport's Car Shows on Monday nights.

The first farmers market will be held on Monday, Aug. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. It will continue through Sept. 28.

Details remain sparse, but the chamber said the event will be held at State Street between 9th and 11th streets. More information, along with a list of vendors, will be posted on the chamber's website.
