LTHS D205 Swears In Student Board Members For The New School Year
This marks the third year of seating student representatives, a program launched in 2023 to amplify student voice in district leadership.

LOCKPORT, IL — At its monthly meeting on Monday, the Lockport Township High School District 205 Board of Education officially swore in the Student Board Members for the 2025–26 school year. The meeting also coincided with the first day of school for all LTHS students, the District shared in a release.
Student Board Members recited the same oath of office as elected members, affirming their
commitment to the same principles of governance as the Board of Education, the District said. This marks the third year of seating student representatives, a program launched in 2023 to amplify student voice in district leadership.
The following four seniors were sworn in to serve during the 2025–26 school year:
• Ryan Gleason and James Wyatt – Student Board of Education Members, attending all formal monthly Board meetings as well as special meetings or workshops as needed.
• Abigail Carroll – Student Board Member on the Finance and Facilities Committee.
• Evelyn Siedlarczyk – Student Board Member on the Curriculum Committee
