LTHS Football To Play Sandburg In First Round Of IHSA Playoffs

LOCKPORT, IL — IHSA football playoffs kick off this week, and Lockport Township High School football will play Sandburg in the first round of the Class 8A playoffs.

LTHS will play at Sandburg on Nov. 1 at 6 p.m., according to IHSA.

Lockport is the no. 23 seed, while Sandburg is no. 10. The winner of the game will play the winner of Chicago's Curie and Homewood-Flossmoor in the second round of playoffs.

The Porters are 6-3 this season.

The Class 8A state championship will be played on Nov. 29.
