LTHS Foundation Hosts Community Food Drive On Sunday
The foundation has collaborated with local businesses and community partners for the drive-thru distribution event.
LOCKPORT, IL — The LTHS District 205 Foundation, with more than 23 local business and community partners, will host a community food drive on Sunday, the District shared in a news release.
The drive-thru distribution is to support families who may be affected by the SNAP benefit lapse. In addition to the food donations, the Foundation has collected more than $7,000 in monetary donations to assist families experiencing food insecurity at this time, according to a release.
The District said it serves a student population in which 33 percent qualify for low-income status.

The drive-thru will last from 10 a.m. to noon, or until supplies last; at LTHS East Campus, 1333 E. Seventh St., in Lockport.
