LTHS Girls Volleyball Advances To Sectional Championship

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School girls volleyball team has advanced to the sectional championship after its win over Lincoln-Way West on Tuesday.

Lockport defeated Lincoln-Way West 25-8, 20-25, 25-23, to win the first round of sectionals, according to IHSA.

Now, LTHS will face Oswego in the sectional championship at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Bolingbrook High School.

The winner of that game will move on to the super-sectional game and play the winner of Downers Grove North vs. Downers Grove South.

The state tournament for volleyball will be played Nov. 15-16 in Normal.
