LTHS Honors State Champion Track Athletes

LOCKPORT, IL — Several track athletes at Lockport Township High School were honored at the June 16 Board of Education meeting.

LTHS students Nolan Lamoureux, Fopefoluwa Omisore, Xavier Adeniyi, Michael Nicholson and McKena Miglorini were all honored for their achievements at the IHSA state track and field finals held in May.

The District said Nolan was honored for his state championship in the 800-meter; and Nolan, Fopefoluwa, Xavier and Michael were honored for second-place in the 4x400 at the boys state finals.

McKena was honored for earning the state championship title in pole vault in the Class 3A girls finals, the District said.
