The "high-end and designer consignment" store offers luxury fashion for more accessible prices.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Fashion lovers have a new place to shop at Marbella Resale Shop in Homer Glen, which opened in April. The "high-end and designer consignment" store offers luxury fashion for more accessible prices, owner Gia Macino told Patch.

The store, at 14318 S. Golden Oak Drive, is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Macino said the store carries items ranging from $2,000 Christian Louboutin shoes to $19 sundresses.

"As long as an item is on-trend and in style, we’re open to it," Macino said. "Our consignment process is selective to maintain quality, but we truly welcome everyone to work with us."

Shoppers can find designer heels, everyday fashion, standout handbags and more at the shop, she added.

Macino said she's always had a love for fashion, especially for designer pieces. When the Homer Glen resident noticed that the town was missing a boutique like this, she saw an opportunity.

"I wanted to create something that brought fashion and excitement to the community," she told Patch. "On a personal level, as a mom of three whose oldest is becoming more independent, I found myself in a new season of life and looking for a creative outlet. Starting Marbella has truly reignited a sense of purpose and joy for me."

Macino said she has always loved the sense of community in Homer Glen.

"It felt like the perfect place to open Marbella—not just because it’s our home, but because the area didn’t have anything quite like this," she said. "We wanted to fill that gap and offer a stylish, welcoming place where locals could shop, consign and connect."
