New Yield Sign Authorized In Erin Hills Subdivision

The yield sign will go at the intersection of Erin and Meath drives.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer Glen Village Board has authorized a new yield sign in the Erin Hills subdivision after an approval at Wednesday's Board meeting.

The yield sign will go at the intersection of Erin and Meath drives.

According to Board documents, the yield sign will be placed at the northeast corner for the westbound approach on Meath Drive.

Trustee Curtis Mason said there has been an issue for a few years on this stretch of road.

"Hopefully it slows the traffic," Mason said.

Trustee Robert Schaller said there is a kind of "blind corner" where the intersection is located.

"Hopefully that will calm the traffic down there," he added.
