'Passionate About Teaching' : Lockport Graduation Shoutout

LOCKPORT, IL — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

Riley Odehnal will receive his Bachelors of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. During his time in college, he developed a large private lesson studio, served as the President of the National Band Association and Vice President of the National Association for Music Education chapters at VanderCook, and closely worked and studied with Mr. Brian Covey at Lockport as a Masterclass Instructor and Brass and Visual Technician. Riley has a passion for the marching arts, and is an active technician of marching bands around the state. The groups he has worked with have consistently received Division I scores, and high scores within local, regional, and national competitions. He is a member of the National Band Association and the National Association for Music Education.

Riley is passionate about teaching and gives 100% to ensure his students thrive and succeed.
