Reel In The Biggest Catch At Homer Glen's Kids Fishing Derby

HOMER GLEN, IL — Head out to the Heritage Park pond on July 19 with anglers 15 and under to reel in the biggest catch and participate in the Village's kids fishing derby.

Registration is required for the event, and there are two available sessions: one from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., and one from 10 to 11 a.m.

Participants must be 15 or younger, and prizes will be awarded after each session, the Village said.

This is the second kids fishing derby of the summer; one was also held in May.

Also at Heritage Park this summer, the Village has planned Chalk-It-Up, set for Aug. 15. Artists of all ages are welcome at the event; and prizes will be awarded by age group.
